DAY 11 | Review of Lexon Mina Mushroom Lamps | Why they are perfect for a newlywed home or newborn babies

The Lexon Mina Mushroom Lamp is known for its cute and stylish design while being relatively affordable. I own four mini-sized lamps and one medium-sized one. It has already been six years since I bought my first two mini lamps. I purchased them in person when The Conran Shop, a British lifestyle store, first opened in Korea.

When it comes to a product's advantages, there’s a difference between how it feels before buying and after using it. Before purchasing the Lexon Mina, the concept of a wireless mood lamp was unfamiliar to me, so I thought it was a bit expensive. Even after buying it, I didn't use it much because I wasn't particularly interested in home decor at the time.

However, after getting married three years ago and decorating my newlywed home, I finally started using it as a mood lamp. Now, with gifts and additional purchases, I have multiple lamps in use. The biggest advantage is that when I want to create a cozy atmosphere, I can use it effortlessly since it’s small and lightweight. The charging time is short, and the battery life is quite long, making it convenient. It almost feels like a comfort mood light.

As I became more interested in home decor, I explored various other brands, but I found the Lexon Mina to be very reasonably priced. It’s not too expensive and makes a great gift—perfect for housewarming or baby shower presents. In Korea, a mood lamp is often considered an essential item for newborns. Plus, since it's wireless, it helps save electricity.

Its small size makes it great for space efficiency when decorating. Grouping several lamps together enhances the ambiance, and they can be creatively displayed with other objects, such as placing them inside glass cups. With endless creative possibilities, you can design a space that feels uniquely yours.

Day 5 | I bought HAY color crate boxes for future kids! and for me as a tool of desk organizer.

I need a storage cabinet to organize items for the babies who will be born soon. That’s why I’ve been paying attention to storage brands, and the brand Tylko caught my eye. It’s a Polish brand, but unfortunately, they don’t deliver to Korea. So for now, I’ve decided to repurpose two existing IKEA cabinets as baby storage and use the Hay storage boxes to store smaller items. I came across Hay products by chance while searching online, and I love how they come in a variety of beautiful colors and can be stacked like blocks. You can even add wheels to make them portable. When I imagine the future when the kids are a little older, I think these boxes could be a fun way to teach them to clean up their toys or belongings. Since I’ll have two kids, I could assign different colors to each of them.
